Levin Aquatic Centre

The Levin Aquatic Centre is situated in the beautiful Gladys Taylor Park surrounded by palm trees, just opposite Levin’s skate park. Our fantastic facility includes three indoor pools:

  • 6-lane, 25m Lane Pool, maximum depth 1.35m Levin Aquatic Centre Logo
  • Children and Toddlers’ pool; and a
  • Dedicated Learn-to-swim pool.

 

It also includes a 70m enclosed hydroslide, hydrotherapy and a convenient outdoor picnic area with cooking facilities.

We offer a wide range of both Aquafitness and Landfitness exercise classes at our Levin Aquatic Centre to suit all ages, levels and fitness abilities. more››

*Every Sunday in Term 4 2016 16 October – 11 December we will be closing the entire complex half an hour early at 5.30pm for Canoe Polo.

Lunch Time Lappers

Lane Swimming avaliable between 12 noon – 2.00pm weekdays. Admission only $2.50.

Not including public holidays or school holiday.

What a venue! Have a party at our place.

Hire all or part of the complex and facilities – hydroslide, lap pool, hydrotherapy pool, tots’ pool and function room complete with BBQ and a beautiful outside area to enjoy – and treat your friends, family, staff, team and clients to the time of their lives!

Mobility Hoists

The Levin Aquatic Centre has two specially designed mobility hoists available to lift people directly from a wheelchair into the pool, providing people with disabilities or limited mobility greater access to the benefits of water therapy.

The hoists hold up to 135kg and have five different size slings available. The hoists can be moved around five different locations around the three pools, making it very accessible for members of the public, and are available free of charge for public use.

The Levin Aquatic Centre would like to thank the Horowhenua Community for enabling them to purchase the hoists.

 

 

 

 

Children under 8 must be actively supervised by a caregiver 16 years or over. Actively supervised means watching your child at all times and being able to provide immediate assistance.
