Streamline Levels

Waterbabies

The perfect introduction to the water full of group activities to stimulate the enjoyment of water, for both caregiver and baby in the water.

Pre-School Tadpoles

The course aim is to develop self-confidence for beginners to the aquatic environment. They will develop independence and enjoyment in the water. Course covers submersion and floating with support.

Starfish

An introduction to the aquatic environment encouraging confidence, independence and safety skills in the water. Developing confidence floating with an aid and streamline glide and kicking.

Seahorse

Seahorse builds on water confidence skills, swimmers develop skills including independent floating, streamline glide and kicking.

This course builds on freestyle and backstroke technique and builds swimmers up to completing 5m in each stroke. Alongside developing these strokes, Seal introduces swimmers to breaststroke leg action.

Stingray

Swimmers who can demonstrate 10m in freestyle and backstroke now build on doing a larger distance in these strokes 10m. Distance is required with breaststroke leg action with or without aid and swimmers are introduced to breaststroke arm action.

Swordfish

For swimmers who can competently swim 20m relaxed backstroke, bilateral freestyle breathing alongside demonstrating 10m breaststroke. This course develops distance and technique improvement in freestyle, backstroke and breaststroke.

Sharks

Aims to build on aquatic confidence and the basic fundamentals of swimming for older children.

Penguin Levels

The Penguin and Penguin Advanced level are working towards learning the correct or legal technique for each stroke. Students at these levels will also be building their strength and stamina.

Improver Levels

Improver and Advanced Improver are for swimmers with the ability to swim all strokes with correct technique consistently. The goal of these levels is to work the students towards competitive swimming with a focus on starts, turns, speed and distance.

Fitness

Aims on building endurance and technique in a fun environment for swimmers that have completed Advanced Improver or that can meet the stated assessment criteria.

Private

Lessons catered specifically to an individual's needs and ability. We offer private lessons to suit one or two people (of a similar ability level) per session.
